In my Jaaxy keyword research tool review, I recommend Jaaxy for its usefulness in finding long tail keywords, and it’s analysis of keyword competition. The Jaaxy keyword research tool will aid you in strengthening your SEO.
Are you looking for a way to improve your search engine rankings? That’s a pretty dumb question, right?
Of course, its. Every online content writer is looking for an edge up. Search engine rankings is your bread and butter. You want visitors to read your content, and for them to see your content you want to rank toward the top (if not in the top 3 spots).
And, how do you go about search engine optimization?
Well, you begin with keyword research as the foundation to building great content. Honestly, having a solid keyword strategy is the beginning of any holistic SEO strategy. And, helpful, engaging content just builds on that foundation.
So, where do you begin your keyword search?
Naturally, you start with a keyword research tool.

What is Jaaxy ?
Simply, that’s what Jaaxy is- a keyword research tool. Really, it’s way more than that, but I’ll get into that further down in this post. For now, let’s just start with Jaaxy being a keyword search tool created by affiliate marketers (the owners and co founders of Wealthy Affiliate).
And, be honest. The competition for ranking is tough. Everyone guns for the top spot. And, sometimes it’s tough to crack into a keyword.
Keywords are Like Real Estate and Jaaxy’s Like an Agent
Think about it this way. Compare keyword phrases to real estate property. Location is everything.
Everyone wants to be on the prime real estate with the best views. In terms of keywords, I’m talking about the generic head keywords for your niche. Try ranking for those keywords, and you’re running at a brick wall.
Instead, why not target keywords that drill down into your niche. That’s right. It’s long tail keywords you’re after.
Going with the analogy, Jaaxy’s the real estate agent. It helps you find keywords that your content can rank with on Google. Incidentally, Jaaxy not only takes Google data into consideration, but it also uses Bing and Yahoo data, as well.
Benefits of Jaaxy
So, how do you spot long tail keywords? Basically, you look for enough traffic to make it worth writing content for with a lower amount of competition.
And, that’s where Jaaxy really helps you. Jaaxy helps you sniff out the long tail keywords.
Let me show you an example.
For instance, say you want to target the keyword “renaissance festival dresses” (Sorry, I’m a geek and into ren fairs and cosplay). So you, type it into Jaaxy and this is what you get:
Jaaxy Does the Legwork for You
As you can see, this keyword phrase has average traffic of 64 a month. When you’re looking for competition, you’re looking for it’s QSR. It’s rather low compared to the head keyword of renaissance festival which has 136 QSR. Sure, it has more traffic, but it also has more competition.
That’s where the SEO score comes in. It’s a metric predicting the likelihood of you ranking on the first page of Google if you target this keyword (taking all of holistic SEO into consideration, of course). The closer the QSR gets to 100 the better.
In addition, Jaaxy also provides you with a prediction as to how much traffic you can hope for by targeting a keyword. Even more, the Keyword Quality Indicator (KQI) tells you if this is a good keyword to use or not.
Jaaxy Helps You Find Long Tail Keywords
So, much of the work of keyword research is done for you by Jaaxy. Of course, you have to come with keyword suggestions to enter, but then the rest is up to Jaaxy. And, you get results quickly.
By using Jaaxy, you find keywords that are within your reachable and pickable (low-hanging fruit). You can then create content that makes ranking easier. In other words, using Jaaxy strengthens your SEO strategy.

Product Description and Features
In addition, to the keyword search tool, Jaaxy includes other research tools, as well. For example, you can use Jaaxy to track your rankings on Google, Bing, and Yahoo using Site Rank.
If that weren’t enough, Search Analytics lets you see the 1st page rankings for the keyword your researching. Thus, you don’t even need to leave Jaaxy to see who your competition is.
Furthermore, if you’re struggling with coming up with keywords, you can enter your head keyword and generate an alphabetized list of associated keywords. Plug these into the keyword search tool and find your targeted keyword.
Finally, if you want to manage your list and store them, you can do that in Jaaxy, as well.
So, how does all of this look with each plan?
Who is Jaaxy for?
Jaaxy is such a great tool for drilling down your niche. By using the QSR and average traffic in the search tool, you can determine whether a niche is going to be profitable.
If you already have your niche, you can find head keywords for your website.
Or, you can use it to find keywords to target with your content.
In other words, Jaaxy is for online writers. Whether you’re a content marketer, affiliate marketer, or freelancer; Jaaxy will give you the advantage you need to gain the traffic you desire.
What I Like About Jaaxy
- Easy to use- a beginner can use it
- Ability to drill down in your keyword search
- Easily spot long tail keywords
- Scope out the competition
- Get keyword suggestions if your stuck
- Get results quickly and accurately
- Check your site rank for your targeted keywords
- Use it wherever you are and on all of your devices since it’s web-based
- Pulls data directly from Google, Bing, and Yahoo
What I Don’t Like about Jaaxy
Honestly, I don’t like that the results are only available on a global scale. Really, the local market is a great way to rank, yet Jaaxy doesn’t allow you to change the demographics of the search.
Even while saying this, I realize that’s this is true of so many keyword research tools. Having to do local keyword research the long way is just something I’ve learned to deal with.
Another problem I have with Jaaxy is with the Alphabet Soup function. Yes, it provides a list of associated keywords. But, you have to click to search on each suggestion. It would be nice if the relevant data was provided for each suggestion when it you use Alphabet Soup.
I get it, though. That would slow the function down. And, maybe I am just being lazy. What next? Maybe, I’ll want Jaaxy to write my content for me.
Just kidding. It’s still my content and my website. Ultimately, this is my business and my income. I need to be productive and effective in creating content that helps my audience. That’s my role as an online writer.
Final Thoughts of My Jaaxy Keyword Research Tool Review
Nevertheless, despite my complaints, Jaaxy is a powerful resource when it comes to keyword research that helps me as an online writer.
And it can help you, too.
Not only will it help you find keywords for your niche, it will help you determine whether the keywords you’ve chosen are worth going after.
In the end, knowing the phrases your audience uses in their searches is the basis for keyword research.
And Jaaxy helps you figure that out.
